AVID angler Mark Peckett is turning his lifelong passion into a new business venture with the acquisition of a Rotherham fishery, in a deal brokered by Knightsbridge Business Sales
Mark, together with his partner Pia Saunders, has bought Elm Tree Farm Fisheries in a six figure deal that has seen the couple relocate from Surrey to pursue their dream.
The business, which has a turnover of £40,000, was established in the early 1990s and has since been run by the founders who have now decided to emigrate to Cyprus.
It includes two lakes which have 22 and 41 fishing pegs and are stocked with a variety of fish including carp, tench, rudd, perch and roach. In addition, the site has fishing rights to a stretch of the river don. Read the rest of this entry »
